Adv. C.K. Menon, Trustee of the School of Bhagavad Gita, received the Padmasri - the prestigious award conferred by The Government of India. The Honorable President of India, Smt. Pratibha Patil decorated him with the award, which he received in recognition of his philanthropic and social service activities.

Padmasri C. K. Menon heads the Behzad group of industries based in Qatar. He is the Director of NORKA ROOTS, Government of Kerala, besides Director and Advisory Board member of several governmental and quasi- governmental organisations. Sri. C.K. Menon, who was earlier conferred the prestigious Pravasi Bharatiya Samman award in 2006 is also keenly involved in the fields of education, culture and heritage.
