Participants must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from date of travel to obtain the Chinese Visa, required to enter Tibet.

It is advised that only persons of sound health and under 70 years of age undertake the journey. A medical certificate to prove health and fitness to undertake journey at high altitude is necessary.
