The formal inauguration of the School of Bhagavad Gita and Salagramam by Smt Sheila Dixit, CM of Delhi, took place on 1 December 2006 in New Delhi. The function was held in the presence of an august audience at the Russian Cultural Center. The opening was held with the blessings of the President of India, Sri A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who was met at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan by Swami Sandeepananda Giri and members of the trust of the School of Bhagavad Gita. The book titled ‘Geetaradhana’, published by the School of Bhagavad Gita was released by the President to mark the occasion. (See picture)
