The Republic Day of India, 26th January in 2010, saw the inauguration of the TRICHUR center of SOBG. The inauguration was by noted writer, Smt. Rema Menon, who in her inimitable style of story-telling conveyed the message of the need for spiritual awareness and the significance of such a center in that respect. Swami Sandeepananda Giri in his speech of benediction said that he wished the center to grow into an active focal point for creative and outreach activites of SOBG. Adv. Therambil Ramakrishnan, MLA, offered felicitations at the meeting at which Adv. P.S. Easwaran delivered the welcome address and vote of thanks by Pradeep Namboothiri.

The center which functions at Mahatma Lane, Veliyannoor Road, Thrissur (Phone: + 91 487 2427005) will also serve as the outlet for the publications of books and CDs of School of Bhagavad Gita.
