Swami Sandeepananda Giri’s tour of the UAE and other Gulf nations has evoked a very positive response from the Keralite community living there. Malayalis across the Gulf welcomed the opportunity to meet Swamiji at the numerous satsangs organised at Sharjah, Dubai, Ras al Khaimah, Abu dhabi and Bahrain. These satsangs provided the forum for the people to listen to the enlightening words of Swamiji as well as to aquaint themselves with the ideals and message of the School of Bhagavad Gita.

Swami Sandeepananda Giri conducted a discourse on the 4th Chapter of the Bhagavad Gita from 27 February to 2 March 2007 at the Indian Embassy Auditorium, Abu Dhabi. At a meeting held at the Embassy, the Indian Ambassador and Swamiji exchanged views with each other. The Ambassador expressed deep appreciation for the efforts being put in by Swami Sandeepananda Giri to promote and preserve Indian heritage and encouraging value-based education and life-styles.

Swamiji also held meetings with the Consul General of India for UAE, Mr. Venu Rajamony and other social and political dignitaries. All of them were univocal in extending support and solidarity to the ideals of the School of Bhagavad Gita.
