‘The Art of Man-Making’ the discourse series on Bhagavad Gita, by Swami Sandeepananda Giri was inaugurated on the 10th of November 2007 at the Indian Consulate Hall, Dubai. The event, which is the first of its kind in the UAE, was inaugurated by Sri M. A. Yussuf Ali, Director, Emke Group. The ceremony began with a prayer by Smt. Radhika Tilak. Sri. Veerendra Kumar, M.P delivered the key note address at the meeting in which several social and political dignitaries took part. The special guests and noted speakers included Padmasri .P. Parameshwarji, Director Bharatiya Vichara Kendra and Sri. Joy Alukkas, Chairman, Alukkas Group. The inaugural discourse was delivered by Swami Sandeepananda Giri, Director of the School of Bhagavad Gita. Sri. T. P. Venugopal. Trustee, SOBG welcomed the gathering and Sri Asokan gave the vote of thanks.

‘The Art of Man-making’, has drawn a very positive response from the Indian community in the UAE as was evident from the audience that filled the hall to more than capacity. The discourse series, based on the Bhagavad Gita focuses on its eternal relevance, its value as containing the essence of Indian philosophy, the guidance it provides towards the making of a true and complete human being and its positive influence on India’s freedom struggle. As such it gains special significance as India celebrates the 60th year of Independence.
