The 10-day long, Bhagavad Gita Yajnam organised by the School of Bhagavad Gita and conducted by Swami Sandeepananda Giri was inaugurated in Bangalore at the Indiranagar Sangeetha Sabha on the evening of 15th April. Acharya Swamy Haridass lighted the lamp and inaugurated the event. Special guests included Padmabhushan Prof. Ramaswamy and Shri. J. Alexander IAS (Retd), who spoke on the occasion. The discourses which focused on “Gita for daily life” was attended by a large cross section of people, especially from the Malayali community in Bangalore. Besides the discourses in Indira Nagar, Swamiji has also conducted week long discourses at temples in Tippasandra and Jalahalli in two separate morning sessions. All programmes were well - received.
