VIDYARAMBHAM AT SALAGRAMAM - Initiation into the world of Knowledge

VIDYARAMBHAM was held on October 6^th from 8.00 am onwards at Salagramam Ashram. Swamiji initiated several little ones into the world of learning when he guided their tiny fingers through rice to write their very first words "Hari Sree Ganapathaye Namah". After the ceremony, Swamiji did not forget to give words of advice and motivation to the parents, guardians and children gathered there. Following Vidyarambham, there was a cultural show put up in the ashram premises by the tiny tots of St. Francis School. This school, in which most children come from underprivileged families, is situated near Peyad in the outskirts of the city. Salagramam's charity wing extends its helping hand to them by providing wholesome breakfast every day to all the students, who would otherwise go to school on empty stomachs. Swamiji distributed gifts to the children and congratulated them on the enjoyable show they put up.
